A problem was detected with the Chrome Remote Desktop installation on this computer.
Problem
회사에서 쓰던 MacBook Pro가 최신형으로 교체됐다. 그런데 Chrome Remote Desktop이 안 된다!
Reasonable Suspicion
결론부터 말하면 문제는 관련 작업 권한이 일부 해제됐다는 것이다. 원인은 다음 3가지를 의심해 볼 수 있었다.
첫째, macOS Upgrade 때문이다.1 가장 유력하다. 왜냐하면 같은 문제를 겪던 다른 동료도 Upgrade 이력이 있었기 때문이다. 반면에 처음부터 Sonoma로 시작한 동료는 문제가 없었다.
둘째, 기존 작업들을 Migration Assistant로 옮겼기 때문이다. 문제를 겪던 동료가 사용하지 않았기 때문에 가능성은 낮다. 한편 열어 놨던 창들이 그대로 복원돼 편했다. 재설치를 요구하는 Application도 있었지만 삭제 없이 Drag and drop이면 됐다: Brave (Chrome) Browser, Visual Studio Code, Docker Desktop.
셋째, Intel Processor에서 Apple Silicon으로 Architecture를 바꿨기 때문이다. 역시 가능성이 없어 보인다. 가령 Steam처럼 Rosetta 설치를 요구하지도 않았기 때문이다.
Google LLC
System Settings > General > Login Items > Allow in the Background > Google LLC
시스템 설정 > 일반 > 로그인 항목 > 백그라운드에서 허용 > Google LLC를 켜면 된다 (kakadais 2024). 끄면 재발한다.
